The trans-national character of the Project

The trans-national character of the Project will be carried out by:

The coordinated implementation of planned actions in Activities 3, 4 and 5 under the cover of the Interregional Thematic Commissions and their coordinators:

  • The actions with experimental character will be the object, within each interregional thematic commission, of a collective work including inventories, precise definition of the action, design and creation of specifications of the action, experimentation in some regions, balance of the experimentations, collection and accessibility of data, knowledge transfer, enhancement of the global project, recommendations for policies for the development of the marine leisure sector…

  • The other actions with a stronger trans-national character will  engage all of the territories involved in the project around the objective of developing trans-national networks, developing skills and bringing together resources, promotion and public relations:

    • the compilation of research studies;

    • the observatory;

    • the environmental monitoring system;

    • Certain shared manuals.

The coordinated implementation of planned actions in Activity 6 and 5 under the cover of the Lead Partner and the Technical Coordination Partner:

  • the end-of-project European Conference;

  • the Atlantic Area Watergames;

  • the main trans-national events;

  • The common communications action plan, which will rely notably on the website.

The constitution and strengthening of trans-national thematic or sectorial networks (research, training, marinas, heritage boats, surf sector…). NEA partners are convinced that the future of the marine leisure sector in the Atlantic Area goes through a common, federative and structuring global project. Their objective is to better identify the common issues, to make an inventory and to experiment together sustainable solutions, to constitute durable trans-national networks.
