The project

Implementation

To organise a homogeneous and quality range of water sports products in the regions taking part in the initial stage

• Set up of regional network in Brittany, Galicia, Cornwall, Wales, Mid-West, Manche and Norte and of the interregional coordinaton network.
• Establishment of preliminary surveys and collective management of the project of developing the sector.
• Development of a range of nautical products branded «  NEA – Nautisme Espace Atlantique ». These products will have common elements as well as more specific ones for each region. There will also be some “key elements” specific to each region which will answer the need of local and tourist population.
• Development of interregional « tools » such as : a Charter, a Brand, a Trademark, an interregional training scheme, …

To organise the promotion of the water sports concept « NEA – Nautisme Espace Atlantique » on a European scale

• This promotion will rely on the brand and trademark « NEA – Nautisme Espace Atlantique ». It will be implemented in the partner regions by the regional networks as part of the interregional coordination. The interregional network will do it at the European level by participating in forums, and producing promotional material,…

To extend the approach and to progressively integrate other volunteer regions from the West Atlantic into the interregional network,
